Dual M.A. and M.L.S. Program
Together with the School of Informatics and Computing the Department offers a dual M.A./M.L.S. degree in Art History and Library Science. Students complete all course and language requirements for each of the degrees, but write a single M.A. essay in either Art History or Library Science.
- Course work:
- 66 credit hours
- 36 in Art History (see M.A. requirements for further details)
- 30 in Library Science
- Master’s essay written either in Art History or Library Science
- Reading proficiency in one foreign language

Time Limits: The dual M.A./M.L.S. program is designed to be completed in three years; however dual Master’s students have a total of six years to complete coursework and degree requirements.
