Department of Art History

The Department of Art History is pleased to share that Dr. Jeffrey Saletnik has been promoted to Associate Professor of Modern Art. Professor Saletnik's teaching and research focuses on modern European art of the 20^th century. His forthcoming book, Josef Albers, Late Modernism, and Pedagogic Form, analyzes the pedagogy of artist and teacher Josef Albers, and will be published in October 2022. Dr. Saletnik will be on a research sabbatical for the 2022-23 academic year in Berlin, where he will be conducting research for a new monograph about the history of art and education in modern Europe.
